The classes are held on a Wednesday at Heanton Church Hall in Wrafton, (see 'where to find us' for the map). This is a no smoking and no alcohol venue.

All dogs must be micro chipped and vaccinated to attend the classes, this will be checked on the first evening of each term so please bring up to date vaccinations cards.

Puppies aged up to a year are eligible to attend the puppy foundation course, however dogs over one year must start at Bronze level.

Initial membership fees are £10 per member payable in January (or when starting in the puppy class for the first time), this is reduced to £5 per member for the first year for anyone joining in September.

Training sessions are charged at £45 per 9 week term for all courses (exclusive of membership fees). A second or subsequent dog(s) entered in the same term by the same handler will receive a 20% discount per subsequent dog.

Payment in full must be received by the end of the registration evening (first date of the term) for participation in the course, no refunds will be given for non-completion of the course unless in exceptional circumstances.

Children aged 10+ should be actively encouraged to participate in the training of their dogs, however parents and/or a supervising adult must also be in attendance at all times for any child under 16.

The club forbids the use of full check-chains within the training sessions however halti leads and half check chains are acceptable.

Braunton Dog Training Club actively promotes reward-based training and will not tolerate harsh and punitive methods of training.

Handlers should ensure that their clothing and footwear (and that of any child handlers) are appropriate for training purposes.
